System Requirements: Windows XP or higher, .NetFramework 3.5.
If you have an error in Windows 7 asking if the program installed correctly choose 'The Program Installed Correctly'.
This problem may be because I am using the beta version of Visual Studio 2010 to create the program. The program does install and
work correctly. I will have this bug fixed in the next release.
Get the program: If you have not already done so please download the zip or ISO file and install psClip.
About psClip: The inspiration for psClip came from a Tekzilla Daily Tip episode. A viewer was looking for a way to copy a Directory Tree to the Windows Clipboard so that it could be pasted into Notepad or an IM message. The only way to do this is from a Windows Console with the Dir and Clip commands. That is no longer the case. Now psClip provides a way to get Directory Tree information GUI style!
Using psClip: The use of psClip is simple and straight forward. You can either Click on the Browse Button to select a Folder or you can go to the File Menu and choose Select Directory Tree to Copy. Both of these methods will open up the Folder Browser Dialogue as shown below to allow you to select the folder or drive that you want a Directory Tree of.

Once a Folder has been selected psClip does the rest. Your Directory Path and Tree is copied to the Window Clipboard and is shown in the Text Area of the psClip Application as shown below.
That is all there is to it! If you want to select another Directory just click on the Browse Button again. I have included a Reset Button that will clear the Text Area of the psClip Application in case you want to keep that clean uncluttered look while you have the program open. To exit you can simply click on the Done Button or Choose Close from the File Menu.
Thank you for using psClip!
